If you're taking your gear out in your rucksack, you don't want it getting wet. Not all rucksacks come with built-in covers, which is why we make them. This one can actually cover a 45L pack without too much slack and can stretch to cover a 50L pack if it's the right shape.
The material is a tough ripstop nylon and the cover is tightened down onto your pack by way of an elastic adjuster. The stuffsack is integral to the cover and when the cover is in use, the stuffsack will be inside it.
