This isn't a hammock, we decided to make something for the ground only, a sort of progression from the Hornet hammock when set up on the ground. As you can see, it's regular tent shape but mostly made from mosquito netting. When packed, it is very small and the stuffsack it comes in is integral.
Setting up requires pegging out the corners, with or without the groundsheet, and raising the top by either attaching to trees, poles or to whatever is available. You can maximise the space inside by using the side pullouts - there are 4 on each side.
We gave the first one to someone to test out & he said it was his kids who made the best use of it - a sunny day, plenty of insects around and the kids used it as a playroom. So here it is, the TW Hammocks insect-free playroom.
